Verbal Description: This is a realistic watercolor still life. Moving from the left to the right it contains: red apples in a silver colander with two apples outside of this on either side of the base; a blue and white marbled plate propped upright; a gold open bucket of lard with a circular red label that has “WildRose Brand Frye & Company” written across it, and a wooden spatula sticking out of it; a white teacup; and one more apple. The scene is placed upon a twisted white cloth with thin, white fringe, and a pattern of six-sided red stars in a line at the top of the cloth on the left side; its inverse is shown at the bottom on the right side. The background is shallow, and it looks like the still life is in front of a natural-colored picket fence, with slats of wood giving a place for shadows to land to the right of the still life.
