A Xylographer, confident of success, borrowed largely to print great numbers of his images. None sold, however, and when the notes came due he could think of nothing better than to set a match to the pile and climb on. “If I cannot please the public,” he thought, “at least I can disoblige my creditors.”
Moral: It is important to have realistic objectives.
